Creating Your Virtual Model

Your virtual model is the foundation of the Fiu-Fiu experience. This guide will help you create a high-quality virtual model that looks like you.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Take or Upload a Selfie

Navigate to the model creation section and upload a clear photo of yourself.

Requirements:

  • Clear, well-lit photo
  • Your face should be clearly visible
  • Front-facing pose works best
  • Good resolution (not blurry)

2. Photo Guidelines

For the best results, follow these guidelines:

Lighting

  • Natural daylight is ideal
  • Avoid harsh shadows on your face
  • Front lighting works better than backlighting
  • Indoor lighting should be bright and even

Pose

  • Face the camera directly
  • Keep your head straight
  • Neutral expression or slight smile
  • Eyes should be clearly visible

Background

  • Plain or simple background preferred
  • Avoid busy or cluttered backgrounds
  • Neutral colors work well

Quality

  • Use a good camera (phone cameras work great)
  • Make sure the image is in focus
  • Higher resolution is better
  • Avoid heavily filtered photos

3. Processing

Once you upload your photo:

  1. Our AI analyzes your features
  2. Creates a virtual model that resembles you
  3. The process typically takes 30-60 seconds
  4. You'll be notified when your model is ready

4. Review Your Model

After creation:

  • Review your virtual model
  • Check that it looks like you
  • If you're not satisfied, you can create a new model

Tips for Best Results

Do's

  • Use recent photos of yourself
  • Ensure good lighting
  • Take photos specifically for this purpose
  • Use your front-facing camera
  • Make sure your face is the main focus

Don'ts

  • Don't use heavily edited or filtered photos
  • Avoid wearing sunglasses or hats
  • Don't use photos where your face is partially hidden
  • Avoid extreme angles or poses
  • Don't use group photos

Full Body Photos (Optional)

While a selfie is sufficient, you can also upload a full-body photo for more accurate results:

Full Body Photo Tips:

  • Stand straight and face the camera
  • Wear fitted clothing
  • Neutral background
  • Good lighting from the front
  • Photo should be taken from a few feet away

Common Issues

Model Doesn't Look Like Me

If your model doesn't resemble you:

  1. Try uploading a different photo
  2. Ensure better lighting in your photo
  3. Use a more recent photo
  4. Make sure your face is clearly visible

Processing Takes Too Long

If processing seems stuck:

  1. Wait up to 2 minutes
  2. Refresh the page
  3. Try uploading again
  4. Contact support if issues persist

Photo Upload Fails

If you can't upload a photo:

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Ensure the file size is under 10MB
  3. Use a supported format (JPG, PNG, WEBP)

Multiple Models

  • Automatically deleted after 2 years of inactivity
